Happy Semi quincentennial

To celebrate I got out my whole collection of American anniversary coins, tokens, and medals from the 2026 Silver set (uncirculated won't be here until Monday), 1976 Silver (U and C) sets, 1975-1976 mint sets, 1926 half, Bicentennial first day covers and medals, 1926 Philadelphia Sesquicentennial expo medals and souvenir, 1876 centennial expo medals and souvenir book, and of course 1976 Giant sized Superman.

I found these two in the cull bin at my LCS today. Melt +$3 on the Morgan and +$1 on the Peace Dollar.

I was happily surprised when I got home and looked closer at the Peace dollar that its the 4-ray 1935s (vam-3) variety and its still got some good detail left.

I finally got the last few missing pieces for my collection of Eisenhower Dollars.

Bicentennial issues ('75 and '76) in Silver and CuNi

40% "Blue" Ike's

40% "Brown" Ike proofs

Then all the remaining business strikes and proofs (CuNi) in the Whitman album. I used extra mint tokens from blue ike's to fill in the spots of the ones in the OGP.

I think its a neat collection and it wasn't all that hard to put together. I really like these big coins so I thought I'd share.

My bank had $110 in half dollars that someone had cashed in so i couldn't help myself. Other than an entire roll of bicentennials I found these two 1970-Ds so I'd call that a win. Plus they aren't in terrible shape either.
