Got really into Metroidvanias lately, and I ended up finding a game I truly adored. I wanted to post this review here because it's been ages since I've given something a 10/10. The review got less likes than my other reviews, which I normally wouldn't care about, but given the effort I put into the review and how special the game is to me, that made me a little disappointed. (Note: There are two images in the post) As someone who adores the Metroid series but has gone through all the main games, I thought it would be fun to make a list of Metroidvanias that are specifically Metroid-likes. Here are all the MVs I could find that seem to firmly fall on the "Metroid" side of the scale, and recapture that Metroid experience and style. MV experts, are there any other games I missed? Also, please let me know if a game that's already on the list doesn't really belong here.
