And then we’re told we should be FUCKING HAPPY with whatever tip we receive, whatever shift we are scheduled, we should just be happy being at the crux of the fucking universe of HAPPINESS!!!!

If we make a mistimed joke, a slight spill, a smaller than expected smile, a small mixup with someone’s 5 line personalized order, WHAT-THE-FUCK-EVER we might accidentally do that might make someone less than HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY, then we’re terrible at our jobs and should be fired immediately!!!

No wonder we’re all alcoholics/drug addicts. We spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years of our lives trying to make everyone else happy, and we’re treated as ungrateful when we ask the same in return.
