I've been on 20 mg/day of Trintellix for 11.5 weeks and don't feel any effects (positive or negative). Do I need to ween off or can I just stop it (any maybe try something else). Anyone have experince stopping cold-turkey after not feeling any effects?
I've been taking Trintellix for 19 weeks (5 mg for 1 week, 10 mg for 6 weeks, 15 for 6 weeks, and now I've been on 20 mg for 6 weeks). I didn't think that I was feeling any effects - either positive or negative - from the drug...until today. About an hour after taking 20 mg I started feeling nauseous. I've been feeling mildly nauseous all day. This is unusual for me, so I have no idea what the cause is. Could it be from the Trintellix? Seems so odd that it would happen after not happening for 19 weeks. Anyone else have a similar experience? If so, tell me about it - thanks!
This sounds like a stupid question, but hear me out. I've had undiagnosed depression for many (20+) years that I treated with alcohol. That worked until it didn't and I've been sober for 20 months. I've been trying to find a better med than alcohol during that time, most recently Trintellix. I've been taking Trintellix for 19 weeks (5 mg for 1 week, 10 mg for 6 weeks, 15 for 6 weeks, and now I've been on 20 mg for 6 weeks). I don't think that I'm feeling any effects - either positive or negative - from the drug. I'm going to keep taking it for another 4 weeks because my understanding is that if I'm going to get some benefit from it, it will happen by 10 weeks on 20 mg/day. How will I know if I'm benefiting from it? Am I benefiting now? It certainly doesn't feel like it. But what does it feel like when it does? My sense of what I should feel like is warped by years of depression and alcohol abuse. Thanks.
On Monday I'm flying from IOM to Dublin with a US passport. My flight departs at 17:20. When do I need to arrive at IOM? I'm checking one bag.
After taking 5mg for 8 days and 10 mg for 43 days I increased to 15 mg/day. I haven't noticed any negative or positive effects from the drug yet. If I'm going to see a benefit at 15 mg, when will I experience that? Just trying to figure out how much time to give 15 mg/day before increasing to 20 mg.
