Where can I find one to buy?

I'm in Alabama near Birmingham and I've been looking for a manual c5 with a big preference for post 2001 models, I would honestly prefer a base coup over a z06 but I'd be happy to find a good deal on either. I've been checking all the common sites and there just doesn't seem to be any near me.

I tried to meet a guy off marketplace half way but he ended up not making it at the time we agreed on and after that I just didn't feel great about buying it. Is there somewhere I'm missing that I should be checking? I feel like I'm fighting a loosing battle but I really don't want to give up on owning a C5.

Going to look at one today

What should I look for? I know a few things to check like harmonic balancers, some fluid leak spots, AC, air dams, rub components and targa top seals. What else should I be on the lookout for? The car has 73k miles but the list 10 years with its current owner has been super light driving.

C5 pricing

A manual 02 c5 came to a dealership near me recently. It's got just under 30k miles. Everything seems in order when I was looking at it. It's black interior and exterior and there's no flaws in it.

The issue is they're asking 25k for it. I know C5s have appreciated but that's still a relatively hard pill for a 2 and half decade old car. But on the other hand that's phenomenally low milage, it's the color and body style I like, and from a dealership I would expect increased cost. It's still within my budget, but I don't want to be hasty. What do y'all think? With paying a premium for the low miles?

Hi all, I've gotten the green light from my parents to look for a Corvette. Really it's more of a yellow but I can start seriously considering listings instead of just doom scrolling what I wish I could have.

A relatively nice condition c5 or c6 fits nicely in my budget with a little wiggle room (especially for a c5) but I have concerns about the c5 autos. I've heard not great things about the 4L60E so if I get a c5 I'd rather it be manual

A c6 I'm confident I'd be happy with either a manual or auto, but honestly my heart prefers the c5, even though I know the c6 would be a better and easier car to own, something about the c5 calls to me. No it's not just the pop-up lights, but that is part of it.

Anyways, I'm not sure if learning manual on a Corvette is doable or not. I've heard and read that it's either a terrible idea, or that it's actually a great car for learning manual, and I was hoping to get some advice.

I have very limited experience with manual, so you can pretty much just assume I would be learning from step 1, but I'm also passionate about it, and have wanted to learn manual anyways.
