I thought I was clever in creating a high hide in this area. There were two Lox herds close together and it was against a swamp so I could watch the wars or hunt whenever. However, the Lox turned the tables. One of the Lox I shot ran off into the distance so figured I was safe to start on the next one...
Mostly on here to to see if anyone else has found a solution to this problem as the last time I saw something on here was a few months ago.
This problem started last summer and below is everything they replaced to try to resolve this problem. All under warranty, thank god I "wasted" my money on an extended warranty. Each month I took it back because it continued no matter the weather.
June - "its the heat"
July - Replaced screen unit (after I provided them a video of the problem)
August - Replaced the harness between the screen unit and the controller
September - Replaced the controller, replaced the radio unit and the harness between the controller and the main harness of the vehicle. This is where everything goes to shit because they knicked the new harness and had all kinds of problems. Kept the vehicle for 2 months as a honda engineer came up to trace the harness and find the knick. Then blamed my dash cam (which I had professionally installed 3 years ago) instead of the new harness installation. Warranty covered it all anyways.
October - Replaced the blue tooth system (literally all that was left, technicians were scared when they saw me pull in at this point). Worked PERFECTLY for 8 months!! Huzzah!
July 2026 - its doing it AGAIN. Do I take it in? I'm kind of at my wits end but can't afford a car payment right now and I know if they lemon law it I'm screwed as you never get what you need for a quality vehicle and I love this car minus this stupid screen. I'm still under warranty for another 30k miles...
