Naphta in my country is VERY expensive, For back salts can I use Lantern oil that’s non polar and doesn’t have a lot of chemicals inside? Also it doesn’t remain in the mixture and separates fast (Im not planning to extract with it i want to remove oils, waxes and lipids.)

I want to harvest phalaris in may but I noticed some reeds are starting to dry (Some fully some have partially or fully dried flowers and leaves)

I wanna do an extraction but none of the solvents (Xylene, Toluene) Can be really bought safely at a cheap price in my country, D-limonene aswell the only real solvent I can use naphta, I know it’s “Moderately soluble” In hot naphta but people then follow with saying it sucks ass.
