I bought a cheap coffee stirrer online and I really don’t trust it not to explode if I left it on for an hour like the recipe calls for.

Could I just turn it on for like 5 minutes to dissolve the fumaric acid and then wait 3 days for the crystals to form?

It’s a cheap battery powered magnetic stirrer and this whole process makes me nervous.

I’m just skeptical that dumping the fumaric acid in the ethyl acetate would work without causing uneven clumping.

I'm honestly shocked. I double, triple, quadruple checked my math and notes. 72g of dried powder (skins and green flesh only) yielded 2.78g of fumaric. I guess excluding the core and white flesh accounts for some of this result, but still. Backstory on the Home Depot bridge...went in to get supplies for my first cielo attempt, maybe 2 yrs ago. I always check the cacti display, and HOLY SHIT...there was a pot with 4 bridges in it. In 4 yrs of looking never seen another...and this is in the southeast mind you. I chalked it up to a blessing on my first run.

I don’t have a food processor and can’t really afford to buy one at the moment. What’s the next best thing I can use?

I have a blade coffee grinder and a blender at hand.

Can you IV mescaline safely? I can't find any info anywhere online about it expect i guess its common in studies so I think it should be safe. Also what is the solubility in water for mescaline hcl? I have pure lab made mescaline not extracted from natural sources tested at 96% and im already a daily IV drug user so please spare me the dont shoot up comments. And any info on how IV, SQ or IM feels would be amazing i dont really want to be a test dummy.

Why does CIELO leads to a more pure extract where kash a/b leads to a full spectrum extract ?

I mean cielo is just an STB and kash is a/b but what makes the difference (skipping the washing part after extracting)?

Imagine I do kash a/b and I have impure mescaline freebase diluted in xylene/toluene and I add hcl gas (like in cielo and then maybe filtering the solids) instead of 100ml aqueous HCl solution, then extracting the aqueous phase and evaporate the water

Does this change something in terms of yield, purity or crystallization (powder vs crystal vs reddish goo)?

Has anyone made chocolate bars from cielo extract lol would it even be possible?

Bob's starting numbers don't match the tek on dmt nexus. 200ml EA instead of 225ml and 150ml each pull after instead of 160ml.

It also calls for 100ml of water for the crumb instead of 130ml.

I wanted to use the calculator for quick numbers on smaller extractions. Can this be trusted?

Hey amigos. Thisll probably sound dumb but hear me out. I am currently waiting for my jar of ethyl acetate to fully salt out its mescaline fumarate in preparation for a music festival in a couple weeks for personal use. I am kinda shitting bricks because the festival is, at this point, soon. And I am really wondering if I'll have enough product or if I ought to go hack up another cactus to dry it out and otherwise extract it before my little music festival.

The cactus I extracted was about 18 inches (350g powdered) of a PC I got on marketplace. I imagine I already have the 250-300mg that I want, but I really don't know what 300mg of mescaline fumarate looks like. If, say, I only have 100mg of usable product, I need to go hack that other cactus up right now and get it dried ASAP. If, however, I have an amount that resembles 500mg, then sweet don't even worry about it I'll let the cactus keep growing until Im ready to harvest it.

So yeah I'm really hoping someone reading this says the following statement to themselves verbatim "shit dude I've got a picture of the last time I extracted mescaline, as well as a single 300mg dose of mescaline fumarate." I would then go on to hope that you posted those pictures, or similar

I have a large 65-inch San Pedro cutting, it's completely calloused. I’ve left it outdoors for about two weeks. I want to make mescaline powder and put it in capsules – what would you recommend? This would be my first time making it powder, I've always boiled it, but I want to try something different and I want to avoid the bad taste. If I leave it outside for a couple more months, will it be more potent?

I can't take a picture at this second, but looking at this subreddit, it looks like my Cielo Tek isn't working. I salted it yesterday with citric acid, but it doesn't seem to be reacting as much as I thought it would.

I started with 60g of dried SS02 × Serra Blue, which I dried in a dehydrator for 15 hours. Followed the Cielo instructions to the T, reducing everything to 60%. After I put in 3g of citric acid yesterday, small white grains formed on the bottom after a day.

I did this before with 100g of PC. After 3 days, it only produced 60mg, which didn't surprise me. The same white grains formed on the bottom after I agitated the jar by swirling it for a total of 2 non-consecutive hours over the 3 days.

It has only been a day, but eyeballing it, it seems to be less than 60mg at this point.

I was wondering, how long should I expect this to really start precipitating if it is going to? Am I just being impatient?

I hear people put it in juice to dissolve and drink but that sounds ridiculous would tea not make one Less prone to purge??
