Cuticle care tips

Hello! I would love some beginner tips or if anyone knows reasons why my fingers have always looked like this.

Admittedly I don’t really know how to take care of them, but I drink lots of water, use a cuticle oil most nights (a new routine of the last 4 months), and slather hand cream 2-3 times a day. I trim the little hanging things every couple days with nail clippers. Decreasing or increasing any of the above never really makes a difference. I’ve never been a nail biter. I wonder if it’s genetic, because my husband does nothing and his are perfect.

Even after getting a manicure they start to go back to this within hours, and my hangnails end up being worse for a week or two, so I don’t get them done anymore.

I saw somewhere in my city offers Russian manicures and I’m wondering if that might be a good idea.

Touchy feely books

Hey!

I’m looking for recommendations for touchy feely/texture books that specifically have large targets.

We have a couple, but my 8 month old only has coordination for a select few of the pages with big targets, she loves those pages though, and we just skip the others. Any books where the textures take up a significant portion of the page?

We have:

That’s not my piglet
