New TV Recommendations for home office
Last Thursday I did something really stupid that sent my 65” Bravia A80K OLED to the floor. Happened so fast that I wasn’t able to fully grab it and ended up dropping it on my left foot and in process busted the whole bottom left of the TV. Needless to say I have spent the last week looking at a few different options.
Main content will primarily be 4kUHD discs. The rest will be split between streaming and sports.
This is an office TV replacement. The room has controlled lighting with blackout curtains when needed. I originally had the Bravia as a main TV and replaced it with a C4 a few years ago. I really do not want to replace it with another 1500-1600 dollar OLED. Is there anything out there now that can get somewhat close in picture quality for a little bit cheaper?
I just want something that has Dolby Vision support and deep blacks as this will be more for 4KUHD Blu-ray’s. If I can just get it 80-90% of the picture quality of the Bravia A80K I’d be happy.
Range as of right now is $500-$900 but if possible would like to be in between that “if possible”.
