Will this propagation have enough chlorophyll after the parent leaf dies?

I wasn't sure what to expect when I stuck a broken leaf in the pot. Im unsure of species? Appears it is not going to get the dark green strip and is uniform yellow. Will it eventually scorch and die like an albino?
