installing the double burners

I understand that grills must be built with non-combustible materials. Is it safe to install a double side burner in a wood frame? I am remodeling my outdoor kitchen and noticed that the Cal Flame stove was installed in a wood frame with a granite countertop, and the plywood sides were covered with tile. I am upgrading my appliances to a Lynx grill and side burners. The grill area is constructed with metal and cement board, isolating the grill from the adjacent stove cabinet.

any body convert grill from LP to NG

After researching grills, I recently purchased a new DCS 9 36" grill as a showroom model, which gave me a 35% discount off the original price. However, the grill is configured for liquid propane, while I have a natural gas hookup under the grill. I'm debating whether to use propane or convert the grill to natural gas, as the DCS conversion kit costs about $170. I installed all the gas piping for my outdoor kitchen myself, but I'm not familiar with converting a grill. If anyone has experience with this, I would appreciate your advice. Alternatively, I could use an LP cylinder and stick with propane.

Hestan grill question

As you may have seen, I recently posted about Lynx, Coyote, and DCS grills. Every time I think I’ve made up my mind, a new option or promising deal comes up. My local dealer currently has the DCS 9 and Hestan models. I was originally considering the DCS 9 36", which I really like, but the dealer mentioned they have an open box Hestan 42" that was returned due to a minor dent on the hood. They’re offering it at the same price as the DCS. When I looked for information on Hestan, I found limited feedback—mostly negative comments—and noticed the price is typically well over $12,000. I’d appreciate your valuable opinion on this deal: should I go with the DCS 9, or consider the Hestan at a significant discount for the price of the DCS?

drive assistance pro and hot weather!

It was  a hot day in Central Florida, I parked in the sun until 2 PM, and the temperature reached 104 degrees. During my drive home, I activated the DAPP, which worked for about 10 seconds before displaying a notification: "attention detection camera restricted." The DAPP then canceled itself. I tried several times and received the same message each time. The screen felt very hot from the sun. Has anyone else experienced this error, and could it be related to the high temperature or a recent software update?

local or online purchase high end grill

I'm still deciding between the DCS 7 and Lynx Sedona, both priced over $4,000. I have a local dealer nearby, but they may charge more and have a longer delivery timeframe. Do you have any suggestions on whether it's worth buying from a local vendor? If not, what is the best online site for purchasing?  I want to do payment plan instead of chopping huge chunk from my bank account.

thanks

COYOTE OUTDOOR LIVING - 36" SL-Series VS DCS Series 7 36-Inch

I have already built the outdoor space for a 36" built-in grill but have not yet decided which grill to purchase. My main requirement is a ceramic radiant tray for even heat distribution. After researching and reading reviews, I have narrowed it down to two options. The DCS grill offers excellent flare management and a solid ceramic tray, but its price is a concern. The Coyote SL meets all my requirements, although I am not satisfied with its cooking surface. However, it is reasonably priced and features LED lights, which enhance both aesthetics and safety during night cooking. I would appreciate your opinion on both grills, including their respective pros and cons.

I can comfortably buy the DCS but I don't have the guilt regret :)

new Verizon deal in Tampa!!

Two young people knocked on my door and tried to persuade me to switch from T-Mobile to Verizon. They offered a deal: four free iPhones and only $20 per line per month for unlimited calls, texts, and data. The catch is that I would need to stay with Verizon for 36 months to keep this locked-in rate. Currently, I am paying over $300 and my phone is getting outdated, so I'm considering the offer. However, I am a bit skeptical about the deal and about people going door-to-door. If you have any experience with or knowledge of this kind of offer, please let me know.

My M60 came with Drive Assist Pro and Park Assist Pro. I recently paid $55 for annual park assisting, including remote control parking—using my phone to move the car into or out of tight spaces. However, the system hasn't worked very well. When I try to exit the garage by reversing, I never succeed. Approaching the garage, the car gives me the option to use the garage feature, which works perfectly; it parks itself smoothly in the right spot.

The reverse always fails because the space between the rear bumper and the wall is less than a foot. Additionally, BMW doesn't do a good job detecting cross traffic while I'm backing up. More than once, I've almost hit a car driving on the main road. Our Subaru Accent is much more precise in detecting traffic when reversing.

Has anyone figured out any tricks for auto parking?
