the legend is not dead , Indy in performance capture format

the legend is not dead , Indy in performance capture format

Lets forget about Dial of Destiny , we can have young Indy again in motion capture format . Take a look at Beowulf , its beautifully crafted , a Indy movie in CGI accompanied with moving score , we are not far away from the untold adventures of Indiana Jones .

The picture is generated by chatgpt as a concept .

Things weaken Jurassic World

One problem with JW is when you have so many visitors and make the dinosaurs breaking loose so unimpactful and almost zero consequences , it just makes audience dont give a care at all .

No visitors are harmed or killed making the incident feel like a walk in a park . Once the island is shutdown everybody is safe and sound , the park becomes a shielded laser area for dinosaurs arena . Lets imagine if this is a zombie movie , effective way is to make people in danger . There will be a lot of tension and thrill . You cannot make a Jurassic movie with 99.9% of people being exempt from danger , it just doesnt work .

What's even bizzare is releasing a T-rex , in fact , this is actually a very illogical and contradictory move . I mean when a lion is out of the cage , then you decide to open the gate of tiger ? It just fundamentally makes no sense . It feels like pouring gas to a fire .

The more effective way to portray the JW is to focus on the visitors in danger , we dont need thousands of NPC that are irrelevant to the incident . Or at least make some portion of people in great danger if population is that massive .

Another thing is the i-rex's escape , its a extremely underwelming sequence . One reason for that is it basically restrict the threat level of the movie , what is better in my opinion is to make the breakout sequence more massive in scale and higher in severity . Because the movie we got actually feel very small scale and regional .

Jurassic World Six : Refill , movie idea

The story follow after the previous post .

On a remote unknown island named Isla Jeepeetee, a secret lab is doing dinosaur DNA technology with newest AI . The RD team is now using AI to make dinosaurs . There is a scene of a team member saying : "you ... use AI to ... make dinosaurs ? ".

Now the product placement scene kicks in , a lab technician is having his Starbucks drink but delinquently spill it on the floor and doesnt bother to mop it off . He murmur : "goddammit! now I have to refill again !" Later his coworker girlfriend carelessly slip on the spill and erroneously press a button. The button being pressed cause a chain reaction of total shutdown of the whole island .

A huge hydra like hybrid break loose then kill all the personnel , this creature is a failed trex experiment , it has eight and a half head , the heads fight each other frequently . It has only one leg so it have to move as if its in a potato sack race . It is called : "Le Rex".

Now the survivors from Rebirth after they escape the second island(the one with Da-Rex) arrive on this strange island , its their third time on a unknown island , due to food shortage they have to explore the island . Later they find that they need diverse nutritious food to sustain their life , they are forced to scavenge the island's food court area , there are four major food court area in four different facility . They have no choice but to explore them for their survival.

Then they encounter a mutant dinosaur , which is a hornless-triceratop , called "hippo-saur" , the hippo-saur is deadly both on land and in water , they discover that hippo-saur is potentially the deadliest dinosaur on the planet , based on text of journal of deceased scientist . After that they find the food court area : Almond, equipped with various product placement store from A to the G brands .

Then they see a horde of huge sauropod forming Spade ♠️ shape and Heart ❤️ shape with their necks , they are all marveled by their magnificence. After that they find the food court area : Breeze , equipped with various products placement store from H to the P brands .

Then they all be chased by hippo-saurs causing them to fall from cliff about 200 ft fall , but thanks to tree and leaves it is not big deal plus there is a shallow puddle down there . After that they find the food court area : Cylinder , equipped with various product placement store from Q to the Z brands .

Just next to Cylinder they find the food court area : Diamond , equipped with zero product placement store because it's under construction when incident happened .

Finale ends with Le Rex die from plot armour of the casts , then they sail away on a different barge hopefully will never have to visit this island again .

(And there is a "hippo-critical" joke shared among protagonists to add humour in the film.)

Recurring theme in JP franchise seldom discussed

First I want to say my posts are not AI generated , I do use AI to search proper phrases or vocabs , English is not my first language.(searching engine is AI now)

Back to the topic , a constant recurring theme in the franchise is actually quite "religious" or "spiritual" , and that is ' a glorious starting of journey , then descended to hell(is it okay to use this word here ?) , then the finale : Being relieved and saved (yes it feel a little bit 'holy') '.

And throughout JP trilogy , I think it is heavily utilized and centered on . And it actually make these movie quite transcending experiences ( if you get the point I am speaking here ). The start is a hinting, lurking threat , the raptor encage scene , the girl attacked scene , the skydiving scene , they are brutal and hopeless .

Then, after some sequences , a promising , hopeful embark sequence is introduced : the JP helicoptor scene (emotional high) , map fading to ship scene, the Alan persuasion lead to plane scene , these scenes are always filled with glorious and promising score ( making audiences feel excited that something good and hopeful is coming). Then we all know what happens later .

Now , after all the kills , traumatic , burdensome , disheartened incident , the protagonist are relieved, saved , entering to restful and comforting phases ( I will use the word 'reflecting' here), the movie make room a period of time for cast and viewers to take a rest and ponder on the amazement and awe the story bring .( the helicoptor scene of cuddling , the sofa cuddling , the helicoptor scene cuddling again )

And I think these are core elements why JP franchise work in my opinion.

My imagination of Jurassic World

Here is my version of the movie , let me know what you guys think . This post will focus on tone and concept .

The functioning park has more grounded , industrial and coarse looks , it feel like a real zoo instead of a futuristic amusement park (no cgi facility or landscape scene , all practical ). Park fences are all electric wired or railing built ( no glass). Equipped with park shuttle , bus , jeep and cable car.

Lesser known or less popular cast (ex : Andrian Brody , preferrably actors with less comedic vibes ) , no i-rex and mosa (no sea creature and no pool in the park ) . Zero fictional hybrid elements and tendencies (only scientific known dinosaurs ). Lab scene is darker and dimmer in color .

The visitors number is below 200 for quality and safety reason . The park feel way more spacious and empty than the actual movie( I looked it up , in the movie its around 20,000 a day ) . In my vision of the film the park is very niche , regulated and undercrowded , even to an extent feel "deserted ".

Some scene ideas : cable car attacked by pterosaurs , shuttle or bus vehicle attacked by carnivores . herbivores stampede scene , multiple raptors devour one person scene , corpse parts hanging on rex's jaw scene , compy attack other dinosaurs scene .

Most dinosaurs has animatronics and cgi mixed scene . No returned dinosaurs or characters ( no rexy , no Ian , no that creature from that movie , no that character from that movie etc. ). The movie is totally on its own and neverseen before ( yes we have mention and referring to , but no on screen appearance ) . The tone and design is coherent to JP trilogy , but characters and dinosaurs are distinguishable visually from the past .( so basically like what they did in Rebirth , raptors, dilo, rex etc.)

The movie has no designed nostalgic scenes or objects , the movie try to invent or expolore its own niche scene or sequence . No flare , no shavecan ,no goggle .

A good example for how the JP franchise can thrive again .

In my opinion , I think Alien Romulus is a good example on how a good sequel is possible. Future Jurassic film should at least achieve what Romuls does .

I think Alien Romulus achieved some of the following things :

Being faithful , visually consistent , tonally coherent to the Alien worldview. Keep it what it is , a space horror . Jurassic film should stick to what it is , a sci fi horror . What Jurassic franchise is lacking now is maturity and seriousness . It has been on the wrong path for a long time . The franchise has been involved with too much of cross-genre elements , making it a confusing series , a total mess .

Romulus cleverly and intricately lay out nostalgic elements but with thoughtfulness and creativity . Yes , it has "remember this?" moments . But it successfully and convincingly deliver them in a natural and sincere way . We dont find it lazy , at least not on a "copy and paste" level of laziness .

Romulus has "punching" moments that actually leave you in awe . I think in the past several installment of recent Jurassic films , they fail to have any memorable or impactful moments in the movies , they just being there but not able to connect or move audience in ways it once did . When watching Romulus , I still get wowed and amazed by the things they show on screen , not so much on the other hand .

Biodiversity is what the franchise need

Erase hybrids and mutants , just add more diverse and colorful dinosaur ecosystem in the future films .

1.appearance : sex , size , coloration , we can have different looks on dinosaurs across different area , make dinosaurs more diverse , some more compact , some more ferocious , some more tamed , some are exiled , some are aged , some are extremly ripped , some more slim , these are traits can be shown on screen , but the franchise yet be able to expand and highlight the aspects . Who need mutadon when we can have awesome raptors with different visual characters and behaviour ? Who need rancor when we can have different looks and size of t rex ?

2.habitat : region affect how dinosaurs behave , we can have different life style of dinosaurs from different area , some very territorial , some always on the move , some stick to group , some going their own way , some even reside in abandoned facility .

3.species : we can have multiple version , batches , variation of the same dinosaurs , why insist on making generic mutant and hybrid ? We still have a lot of unexplored species or subspecies .

My opinions on how to make good Jurassic movies , essential cores of this franchise

1.Seriousness - Setting the tone . The film should reveal itself to audience as something believable and serious . Viewers cant take the film serious if it is laughable and cheesy . When a film establish itself as a lighthearted , playful joke , its hard for people to feel present , feel empathetic , feel immersed or feel relevant . The last thing we need in this franchise is cartoonification .

2.Score - Emotion enhancer . The score should be able to make you feel certain way and take that feeling to another level . If the score does not imply anything , or only giving vague or contradictory musical cues , then the scene and score are on total different track , it cause no emotional fluctuation among viewers .

  1. Cast - Vividity and relatabilty. Characters should be vivid in their personality , they should emits their distinguished aura . Characters should be able to leave stamps or impressions to audience . If viewers cannot describe or identify what that character is , then that character shouldn't even exist in the first place . When audience feel distant and unrelatable to the characters , its like watching fish in the tank , we are so close yet feel so far away .

  2. Carnivorous Dinosaurs - elegant and majestic . The film should be able to portray consistent ,coherent ,recognizable , carnivore design. And the fundamental elements are as followed - elegance : beautiful , majestic : awe inspiring , animalistic : feel real and beast-like , menacing : unpredictable and untamable , cunning : unnegotiable and deadly , evil : bloodthirsty and cruel .

A Sorna island movie idea about coexisting with dinosaurs , a true utopian dreamland

So isla Sorna became a coexistence playground where humans live peacefully with Dinosaurs . An utopian island where violence and incongruence are allowed and not frown upon .

People now ride and let kids play with dinosaurs , where true equilibrium exist . Even the hybrids and mutants are unleashed to be coexisting with everyone , and they dont get hunt down or excluded .

Majority of people did get eaten or injured by dinosaurs but they still persist the vision of coexistence . No one complain . A true coexistence is realized , not wishy washy-coexistence where hybrids and mutants are banned .

But one day a group of young men begin to realize its all a lie , they dont want to live like this , they start to point out to people when people's friends and relatives are torn apart by dinosaurs . They sometimes get to preach to the family whose family members got stampeded to meat patty on the ground . But its all in vain .

After some time they decide to leave the island , the mayor of Sorna is happy that they finally won't be the resistance force of this island . The young men try to sail away from Sorna , but later a hurricane strike the boat causing them to land on another island . When they get out of the wreckage of ship and set foot on the unknown island , they see a big sign saying : Welcome to isla Nublar .

They all find a tree before the end of that very day .

When an irrelevant movie feel more Jurassic than a properly Jurassic-titled movie

Its really interesting Disclosure Day 2026 feel more like a Jurassic Park movie than JW franchise does if you know what I am saying .

The filmography , the score , makes it feel even more reminiscent to Jurassic Park ( or Indiana Jones , or other old good films ) than what we have in recent decades of cinema .

Look , what I want to say is sometimes a heart felt and moving film is about how you present it , the atmosphere , the immersion , the seriousness , the acting , those things will makes you feel at home closer to the Nublar or Sornar experience .

We can have tons and tons of more sequels (or from any iconic movie franchise )in the coming years , but if they do not inherit the spirit , charm , awe , faithfulness , vision , thoughtfulness , and intricacy from the original , then they are not really " evolving " , they are just internally " mutating " and " deteriorating " in a disguise .

Next film big villain prediction and speculation

Here I am only talking about potential mutant and hybrid in next film .

Main villain dinosaurs:

(1)D-Raptor : a mutated , deformed human size heinous raptor , with bulky forehead and a pair of stronger arms like mantis

(2)X-Rex : a crossed breed rex with big sail that can swim dive, and can also spit venomous liquid , an all rounded killing machine

(3) Mecha-Rex : a semi-modified rex with mechanical body parts , that have double or even triple the power of a ordinary T-rex , (very likely)

Sidekick villain dinosaurs :

(1)Minidon: inspired by compys, small but can fly in swarm just like hornets , deadly little creature , and have their nest on cliff

(2)Mutadon type ii : two headed mutadon , not very intimidating but can beat raptor easily if 1 on 1

A slightly more impactful and stronger alternative Lost World ending

First thing first , I like the film . This post is my reimagining of the movie itself.

I want the San Diego cut out .

(1) main cast chased by raptors and bumped into the Caged tRex spot . Raptors attack the ingen crew and dispersed the whole unit .

(2) Owen still get to get the rescuing call

(3)later a second trex arrived to save the Caged Rex , lots of action and confusion .

(4)raptors have small clash with trex and with a more animal-like encounter , not the clash of titans kind of crap .

(5)the remaining ingen crew and cast eventually back off to the boat and set off with finale score.

The sequences mentioned above will be filled with a lot of action and thrill . I yet have a clear , detailed version , but thats the main theme of the ending sequence .

What do you guys think ?

This version sticks to the wild , barbaric theme of the lost world , and effectively and efficiently evade the city sequence .

Potentisl Jurassic Park movies took place between JW and JP3

Obviously the movies would be titled as Jurassic Park , several films center on aftermath of JP3 on isla Nublar and Sornar . Great adventures to be explored on those islands .

Personally I have come up with some intraquel ideas about honey moon accident , bandit hideout , scientist revisit story , we can revisit the old park and unexplored area and more and of course more of dinosaurs .

With lesser known casts we can all focus on story plot and dinosaurs with a more immersed and retro touch of Jurassic movies.

What do you guys think ?
