Is it possible to open a can of worms that you can't integrate away?

Why does it seem like many people here have spiraled into chronic ailments from beginning TRE?

As far as I understand, the model is shake --> integrate --> experience new baseline --> shake again --> ...

But it seems like every other post I read is a story of how someone tried TRE or did it for a little while and all of a sudden "unlocked" some kind of ailment that lasts a while? People dealing with depression or anxiety chronically.

I am looking to introduce TRE to a few relatives, one of which who is very much stuck in freeze, and I am worried that even with a practitioner something bad will happen to him. Like he will somehow open a big can of warms that he can't easily close, and this might God forbid cause a spiral downward.

Is this possible? Should I be worried, or am I misinterpreting the posts? I'd really appreciate if someone can help me make sense of this in more than just a few words. Thanks.

Will I get away with an M1 8/256?

I do nothing other than keep a couple of chrome tabs open, two at a time. Maybe check messages and phone app from the Mac. Will 8gb be enough? I found a deal for $300 on FB marketplace near me. Thanks!

Why do some past traumas stay active and others get pushed into freeze?

In reading the wiki + other somatic literature + personal experience, our trauma has part active component and part frozen (deeper) component. For example, some people are higher functioning but deal with ruminating overactive thoughts/mental chatter, while others deal with frequent anxiety or panic attacks.

What is responsible for these differences? What determines where the trauma goes?

Where to get green tea matcha soft serve?

Extremely important question. Are there any places that sell this? And if not soft serve, any green tea ice cream at all? (besides supermarket brands like Haagen Dazs)

Can you be too old to do TRE?

Obviously it should be taken very slow, however:

Is there any case where an elderly person should not try TRE at all? Under what circumstances or kinds of past injuries/surgeries should this be avoided?

Is underdoing really possible?

I read the wiki 10x over and have been doing the practice for some time. I have overdone it before so I'm very aware of that.

However, I've seen underdoing mentioned more than a few times too.

Is that really possible? Is there really a downside to doing less? Cutting the tremors off in the middle of a "wave"?
