So I always used to play with a color like (80,0,40), some kind of burgundy/maroon. But if I test it (even in custom scenario) it always comes out brown, looking like it has about 50 more green in it than I wanted to.
I also tested how it would look like if I added 50 green manually and it then looks like it has 75 green in it
Why? Why not let me play my maroon anymore?
So while the artist is generally supposed to get a yes or no, if the St doesn't know the answer they can also say I don't know.
So like if the answer is yes, the St could say I don't know?
Tho ig this is one of those things that while you technically could, you really shouldn't.
On another note, if you actually don't know now you need to tell the player a clear yes or no in a Vortox game, right? Like, there is no wiggle room here, both answers would be sure to get them on the wrong track even if they figure out the Vortox?
(edit) TLDR: I specifically am talking about why the Vortox has his need-to-execute ability when you can still confirm whether he exists by doing the strategy mentioned below. It seems like his need-to-execute ability isn't really because of fg/tc.
So the Vortox has his need-to-execute ability so those 2 roles can't immediately know whether it's a Vortox game.
But what if you just have everyone vote on the player you decided to sacrifice to the potential Vortox and have everyone nominate? Then tc and fg need to get a yes except for when there is a Vortox.
Of course this means you don't get any info about minions or the demon out of those roles n2, but you also wouldn't have gotten this if Vortox didn't have that ability and you collectively decided not to nominate. (So if this trade off would be worth in that situation it would also be in the former situation)
And sure, evil can decide not to play along or bluff as one of those roles and lie, but the former makes you sus and the latter will have you get found as soon as the Vortox is figured out. (Sure, you might have gotten a Vortox win before that matters)
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY these things can also happen if Vortox didn't have that ability and you decided to not nominate.
