was talking to a guy, and in the beginning he was really soft, gentle, and would reach out to me. At one point I did friendzoned him then after getting more discussing more I told him I’d changed my mind.
He said it had been an alot because one day he felt rejected and the switching to I was interested again.
Since then, though, things haven’t felt the same. He doesn’t really initiate conversations anymore, and I feel like I’m always the one reaching out. He’s still nice, but it feels like he’s put up a wall compared to how warm and gentle he was before.
The strange thing is, I’m starting to lose interest now. it’s not because I suddenly don’t like him as a person. I think it’s because the dynamic has changed, and it no longer feels mutual or effortless.
Has anyone experienced something like this? Is it common for someone to become more guarded after feeling rejected, even if things are later cleared up? And has anyone else found themselves losing feelings because the connection just didn’t feel the same anymore?
