Punt ast build led by shai.

I have 1.01 what do you reckon I do? I’m being offered this trade. Would it be smart to draft Boozer or gain solid depth and take a chance on Aj Or Peterson?

Offseason direction

Hey guys,

Recently I was lucky enough to land the #1 pick in the 2026 draft 8t 9cat and was able to ship away both Butler and Davis to pull it off, along with a late future pick and multiple other players involved. The way our dynasty league works is we have to gut our roster down to 12 players before our draft. This draft is made up of both the new prospects and the dropped players.

Currently my assets and players are:

#1 pick (Boozer?)

#7, 10 & 16 picks

#3rd rounder

  1. Shai
  2. Trey Murphy
  3. Evan Mobley
  4. Lamelo
  5. Bam
  6. Castle
  7. Edey
  8. Allen
  9. Rollins
  10. K Murray
  11. Coby White
  12. Paul George

My drops probably are (Lavine, Claxton, Ayo, Demar)

I am currently looking for a direction to take this team. Im leaning into a punt assist build. I have an option of trading Lamelo away for Lauri, Bane and futures. Should I lean into this and trade castle too? Or look to find a more balanced build. Looking for some advice thanks guys!

Fantasy Advice

Posted this before but still unsure.

Hey everyone, would really appreciate some advice on my team going into next season.

8-man, 9-cat dynasty. I finished 2nd worst this year — mainly due to injuries, some bad draft picks, and honestly a couple of bad trades on my end.

Biggest moves:

  • Traded Lauri Markkanen + Tyler Herro + my unprotected 1st for Anthony Davis + Kawhi Leonard
  • Then flipped Kawhi for future picks because I thought he wouldn’t stay healthy (probably an L in hindsight)

Now my pick has the best odds at #1 overall… but I don’t own it anymore 😭
I do still have a later 1st from the Kawhi deal though.

Current roster:

Guards:

  • Luka Dončić
  • LaMelo Ball
  • Tyrese Haliburton
  • Stephon Castle
  • Ryan Rollins
  • Coby White

Wings:

  • Zach LaVine
  • Paul George
  • Jimmy Butler
  • DeMar DeRozan
  • Ayo Dosunmu
  • Keegan Murray

Bigs:

  • Anthony Davis
  • Bam Adebayo
  • Evan Mobley
  • Jarrett Allen
  • Nicolas Claxton
  • Zach Edey
  • Aaron Gordon

My thoughts:

  • Team feels pretty unbalanced (way too many bigs)
  • Guard core is elite but I’m lacking shooting/3s
  • Not sure if I should:
    • Go all-in and try to contend next year
    • Or retool a bit around Luka/LaMelo/Hali

Main questions:

  • What direction would you take with this team?
  • Who are the obvious trade candidates?
  • What type of players should I target (punt build etc.)?

Appreciate any help 🙏

Why can’t Jalen be our star player?

Everyone’s always talking about how New York need a star player, why can’t it be Jalen Brunson? He’s averaging career highs across the board, just dropped 44 tonight and 38 the other night with great efficiency. He’s proven he is super consistent and reliable. He works with our other “stars”, Ju and RJ. Aswell as this he’s not that old at 26 and I feel he has potential to get better. I just don’t see why he can’t be our star player? Obviously the way it is now doesn’t work, but if we fit him with the right pieces…

Edit: he’s clutch af too
