Drop your ideas for wearable tech
Apologies if this post is boring for you without pictures. I'm looking to build something that is comfortable and unobtrusive, like a nice vest and/or hat can be, so that it's no burden when you're not using it. Functionality is primarily as a terminal and browser and maybe a VNC client when connectivity is high enough. Hardware could be an android in a tilting hat visor, with the battery at the back of the hat for balance, and maybe the vest holds more battery and some chording keyboard and magnetically stowed short - cord handheld trackball or trackpoint (for those kinds of people). What do you think of?

Is this a cyberdeck?
ultra rare y2k2 electric rav4 powered by banned Panasonic NiMH batteries and post-industry waste Li packs, Beaglebone Black single board computer with a secondary X86 machine for running binaries that can't run on the ARM cpu (but gets put to suspend mode when car is off)
Planning to add solar panels to the roof! Keyboard and screen normally inside the passenger compartment

What was that big explosion just now?
There were actually two of them at about 9:42 and 9:45, really big and loud in West Oakland
