Hoping for some insight on a noise with my 2014 Versa note
I’m thinking I had the serpentine belt too tight but I want to know if anyone has ideas. The sound goes away when the engine is warm.

Friend Gave Me Nissan Versa Note
Hello,
Friend gave me a free 2014 Nissan Versa Note. It has 115k miles and he says the only issue is an exhaust leak. Waiting to get the keys for it, but once I do, what are some things I should look for to know if it would be good to keep using and worthy of service like oil and CVT fluid change, or should I just drive it to a scrap?

Does this look normal?
I noticed my passenger side axle is a little suspicious. It is greasy when I run my finger along the axle seal transmission side.
