We paid off our house! It is ours.
We (50 and spouse is 44) are on our 3rd house. First mortgage on the first house was 19 years and 11 months ago (June 2006), after a couple of moves we finished paying off the current one two weeks ago. I know we still have taxes, insurance and HOA but....no more mortgage payment.
No more mortgage interest!
This place is ours!
