Drink up!!!! These seedlings are almost exclusively top watered. I am really starting to see the results of their consistent fertilization!!!! Top watering drives oxygen down into the media. Fertilization sends the plants into overdrive as far as photosynthesis, oxygen uptake, ave water uptake so it’s a match made in heaven. It also drives any ferts that may be on the surface down to the root zone to be absorbed as well.
Everything that you see here except for the last 5 pots in the back are my own crosses from 2025 😬😬😬😬.
S/O to everyone that purchased seed from me. I can’t wait to see your updates!!!!
Finally got some airflow going on the seedling rack! Sarracenia seedlings are susceptible to getting a little moldy because they produce a ton of sticky nectar. This is especially true once they get to the size of the plants in pics 3&4. Airflow also decreases the amount of nuisance algae that grows on your media. It also dries your plants down a lot faster so that your tray water doesn’t have enough time to get stagnant before it’s used up. I bought 6” spider farmer fans but they were too big for this rack (they’re available for purchase if anybody needs them) so I grabbed these 4” vivosun fans to try. They’re doing a great job moving some air around!!

S. Alabamensis with last seasons foliage still attached because I have the worst luck with this species and I’m terrified to touch it. I even feel like taking these pictures is a jinx
Old traps are permanently damaged due to sunburn.
New traps come in fully acclimated and perfectly formed.
