Some of my work as an 18 year old graphic design student

For some context I’m an eighteen year old GD student from Manchester who just finished his A-levels with an A* in the subject. I’m heading to university next month to study the subject full time, and everything you see here has been made simply for fun and to practice my skills.

Hope you like it :) I’m still learning photoshop lol so go easy

A bunch of fan made posters I’ve made

For some context I’m an eighteen year old graphic design student heading to university next month to study full time. I’m a huge fan of movies and one of my pastimes is to create posters - not only to practice my skills but celebrate great movies and shows.

Hope you like them! :)

Few posters from me as an 18 year old graphic designer

For context, I’m 18 and just finished my A-levels with an A* in the graphic design. I really got into graphic design about 11 months ago, and it’s been one of the best things I’ve ever picked up.

Im heading to university in September to study the subject full time, and I honestly can’t wait. These posters are purely created to practice my skills and get my work out there. I’m very much amateur still, there’s more stuff for me to learn, but every poster is another lesson.

Hope you like it!

Work I’ve done as an 18yo graphic designer

For context, I’m an 18yo graphic design student from the uk. I’m heading to university in September to study the subject full time, and I got a final grade of A* in the subject at college this year.

All of the work you see here was made separate to my college work. It’s always for fun, and to practice my skills. The adidas one specifically was fully crafted by hand. I cast a shoe sole and used a macro lense to capture the image.

The final three pages are work I’ve done for the Australian streetwear brand Expo-Iso. It’s a snippet at my first commissioned work, and it was the biggest learning experience I’ve had since starting.

I’m trying lots of different styles of design right now, mainly to have a more wholistic skill set, that’s why there’s some real variety in content here.

Poster I made for tires

Poster I knocked up when I was bored

Lowkey one of my favourite things I’ve made

@darlo.graphics on insta

(I’m reposting this because some people were confused about the meaning. Without sounding like a dick - Shane is death because of his relationship with gerbies. He’s literally always looming over him and dragging him into some shit. Also it’s a parody poster bro, relax.)

Recent works as an 18 year old graphic design student

For context, I’m 18 and just finished my A-levels. I got “properly” into GD about 9 months ago, and it’s honestly one of the most enjoyable and satisfying forms of creation I’ve ever done.

I’m hoping to go to university in September to study it full time, but all the work you see here is done outside of college or commissions, purely for fun and to practice my skills. There’s not specific theme I run with, I simply aim to make a cool poster.

Hope you like it!

Haven’t posted on here in a while so figured it get something put out :)

For context I’m a second year A-level student from the UK, studying graphic design with hopes to GD full time next year at university.

All the work you see here is separate to my college work. Purely done for fun and to practice my skills whilst also building my portfolio.

I post to get advice on where I’m going wrong/right, so please feel free to comment :)

Good news though! I got my first commission the other day.
