WIP of my zombie warband
Absolutely loved our first few games recently, so working on a new zombie warband. Can't wait to get these guys based and on the board.

We've just started our first night of crate training for our new 12 week old Cavapoo that we've had for 1 week. She's such a sweet and inquisitive girl and hearing her cry makes my heart break (I swear I can really feel a pain in my chest when she cries).
Logically I know she's fine. She had just been to the toilet, had her evening feed and plenty of water, there's various toys in her crate if she doesn't want to sleep. There's even space in the crate outside of her bed so if she's too warm she can adjust. Still, I was veering between being worried that I was distressing her and looking for any excuse to let her out so she wouldn't be upset.
I read through many of the posts here where so many people had similar problems and the advice of setting a timer for 15 minutes when she started showing signs of wanting out. I swear I never thought I'd last, but when the timer hit 13 minutes, she stopped and drifted off to sleep. I couldn't believe it.
To everyone who shares their stories of puppy blues or troubles with training or reassurances for new pup owners, thank you. Reading through them really does help!
We didn't pick a specific scenario and just went with a classic "get the treasure and get out" game. We had an absolute blast!
I'm the guy who posted the Family Feud questions a while ago. I finally got the chance to put together the ACOTAR night for my wife and she had a blast! To everyone who answered the questions and to the mods for approving my post I want to say an absolutely massive thank you!
I compiled all the results of the survey and any answers that were given on my original post. You can find the final results here in case you want to do your own night. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Uc9qNOYDbWs20GEKeuixXByHbcVcp6FYB1Chl1N6fyE/edit?usp=drivesdk
To go along with the games I drew Feyre's drawers on our chalk board, picked up some stickers and pins and put them in a cauldron. When she guessed the top answer for each question, she got a prize (and got the rest at the end of the night anyway). If she guessed an answer that wasn't on the board she had to take a forfeit from the deck of oaths. I'll post all the forfeits as a comment on this post, they were really fun! I also put together a night court cheese board and Feyre's paints are just salami with dips and bread sticks. Not pictured was a pitcher of sangria we had as faerie wine.
I also made some playlists to help set the vibe. I couldn't decide on just one for the whole series so made a few. These are:
- We get it Amarantha you're so cool and edgy but get away from my man.
- I just met you and this is crazy, but run away to the night court maybe?
- 2am text from Tamlin and he is not handling the breakup well
- Rhysand I swear hanging out with Tarquin on the beach is for work
- Feyre's hen do but Mor picked the songs and they're all about her
Since it hasn't been an easy year, I was really excited to be able to do this for her, and she was smiling from ear to ear the whole night. When the games ran out we wrote a bunch of names on some cards and played Heads Up, indulged in some fan casting, and just generally vibed.
This community really helped make my wife's night as good as it was, and I cannot thank you enough. From the mods to the commenters on my post you're all terrific and may your smut be spicy and frequent.
Next up Cresent City!
