Go Brewing IPA variety pack

Available via Amazon Fresh in my area.

Jab Jab - my least favorite. It's grapefruit juice with sparkling water; I can't detect any hops. Slight metallic aftertaste. But it's refreshing.

Sunshine State - Also no hops. Very juicy. Light body. It tastes like a typical "tropical" IPA. I could down a 12-pack of these on a hot day.

Disarm - Medium body. Lots of citrus and maybe some pineapple. Pleasant bitterness, especially at the end. If I didn't know, I wouldn't guess this to be non-alcoholic.

The Story - Good body but not as heavy as a true DIPA. Couldn't really taste any malt but it is hop-forward. Grass and pine really hits you with enough citrus for balance. It also has a metallic aftertaste but it's definitely my favorite of the 4 beers.

My first NA IPA

Honestly, I never thought I'd be drinking non-alcoholic beer. I'd tasted Kaliber, Michelob Ultra Zero, and O'Doul's, of course, and they are even more flavorless than Miller Lite or Bud Light.

But thanks to a heart condition, alcohol is a no-go from now on. I tried a few non-alcoholic liquors and just found them lacking. But then a friend suggested Guinness 0.0. When searching for that, I stumbled across this wonderful world of non-alcoholic craft beer.

I still haven't tried the Guinness 0.0 because I've always been more of an IPA guy. I ordered Sam Adams Just the Haze from Amazon/Whole Foods and it's just as tasty as most hazy IPAs out there.

Whole Foods has several more IPAs for me to try before even venturing into a liquor store to find new NA beers. Can't wait to discover more.

My higher-powered loadout

Trying to consolidate my blasters for the next few wars into 2 cases - MPP with Silly Shell masterkey, Lightning, Vesper, a couple of Outlaws, Zebra, and Goblin. But after I checked to see how these all fit, I realized I still want to haul out the Boxer Pro and Axis Switch Pro.

If anyone is near San Antonio, our next war will be May 16, 2026 and then the 3rd weekend of every month after that. (https://www.facebook.com/share/1HjJ24D7Dw/)

Several years ago, I stopped heavy lifting on the advice of a cardiologist who treated my varicose veins. I'm certain this led to my physical decline and exacerbated my AFib.

After getting the all clear from my new cardiologist, I'm starting back at the lifting.

I'm 60 so this isn't to hit new 1RMs. It's to build functional strength. I'm going to start with a one lift a day program.

Monday - (week A) hex bar deadlifts EMOM / (week B) heavy kettlebell swings, low reps

Tuesday - landmine press

Wednesday - goblet squat

Thursday - landmine presses

Friday - KB clean & press

Anyone doing anything similar?
