I've been hit by the dreaded shell crack at the edge of the device, and I recall support here could help you out on these a while back. Are GPD still able to provide replacement shells for this device?
So that'll be between the XQ-FS54 vs XQ-FS44. With the VIII being out I was thinking maybe if I can snatch up on a second hand 1 VII if I visit Japan this year. There's the option of waiting on the 10 VIII, but I'd just like to know before hand.
I've seen a couple of ppl on this sub doing/done the GPD win mini 2025 fan mod (added that extra fan at the back) so I was wandering if you guys would say if it was recommended.
My top 3 Qs on that mod would be: -Does it help with performance? -Is the Battery life affected? -How difficult was the mod (specially if you add that extra insulation pad on the touch pad area)
