If you've been following my last few posts, then you're aware that research and planning phase of an MPC paint job. I think i'm going to go with this BMW theme, but i'm not to sure of what kind of paint I should use on my live 3 housing. Especially since i'm going for a more satin/flat look for my paint instead of glossy.
Any feedback or suggestons are welcome.
I’m repainting the shell on my MPC Live 3 and I’d like to recreate all of the factory labels (button names, icons, logos, etc.) so I can either make a stencil or cut vinyl masks before applying new paint.
Has anyone already traced the entire front panel into an SVG, AI, or DXF? If not, what’s the best workflow for creating an accurate legend?
May someone advise of the exact material used for the live 3 shell.
This is a follow up to my customization post. I eventually plan to paint my own Mpc .
I’ve been following various Mpc Customization pages for awhile now. I am impressed, but can’t necessarily afford the high price tag to have a job done. I am curious of what all goes into this type of paint job/customization. Maybe I’ll decide to do work like this myself one day.
The first person that starts selling the gen2 theme as a skin for the live 3/Xl/x/key37/61 models will make a killing. I need someone to get to work ASAP.
Random question, but does anyone have a visual of the exact path the 2011 tornadoes took in Harvest? I was talking to my wife trying to reference the areas destroyed using the map on This site, but idk if it is all the way accurate with the damage path. Some areas I KNOW for fact were impacted in harvest are not shown.
