I wanted to share a new free dynamic poising tool I’ve released called DynaPoise.

DynaPoise allows you to create a virtual representation of your watch’s balance wheel and input the rate measurements of your watch in eight vertical positions. The tool then calculates the heavy and light spots on the balance, and shows them graphically along with recommendations on how to bring the balance into poise.

I created DynaPoise for my own use (to replace a pen-and-paper process), but I get so much use out of it that I wanted to share it with the community for free. There are no ads and no subscription fee - I don’t get anything when you visit the site, besides the satisfaction I was able to help someone else out.
