I have recently gotten back into league and want to progress up the ranks (currently high silver with about 10 games played). One thing that I keep hearing/seeing is the mention of locking in on a ‘champion pool’ and focusing on that pools mastery.

Questions: 1)How to go about this without worrying about meta affecting this pool?

2)How many champions per role? My guess is around 2/3 per role.

I’m thinking about locking in with Xerath and TF mid lane. Nocturne, Jarvan and Volibear Jungle. Thoughts?
