Timing belt and preventative maintenance

Hey everyone,

I'm gearing up to do my first timing belt, water pump and rad swap. I ordered this kit from aircabinman, a Denso rad, and will be changing the coolant to Toyota red while I'm at it. Hoping for a little advice on what's worth swapping while I'm in there. The belt was done once before by the previous owner at 134,000km, and while I've owned it for ~6 years, unfortunately I have no service records that predate my ownership. Mileage is currently sitting at 266,000 km / 165,000 miles.

So far I'm thinking:
Rad hose, upper and lower (OEM)
AC belt pulley (Gates 38031)
Alternator brushes (OEM)
Heater control valve (OEM)
Fan clutch (Aisin)
Fan bracket (Aisin)

I'm mainly torn on whether or not to replace the fan clutch and bracket. I don't believe there's anything wrong with either, but do think they're original. Folks seem mixed on the forums about whether or not to replace them unless they're clearly on their way out. What would you do? And anything else I'm overlooking?

Thanks in advance!

Lug nut advice needed

Just did a test fit on some JDM wheels to confirm they'll fit my Tundra calipers - no issues there. However, even though the fitment is spot on, I've run into a couple of potential mounting concerns.

These wheels have smaller lug holes than stock, and also have a flat face. On the stock wheels, the lug nuts recess into the larger lug holes and seat into the wheel properly. Here, the hex head on the lug nuts only meet the flat face of the wheel, so I need something different.

I didn't try torquing them because the floating washer on the OEM lug nuts will likely damage the chrome finish when torqued down. The wheels are from the 90s, so the chrome is already brittle and flaking.

I'm thinking that lug nuts with a smaller Hex head could solve my problem - anyone have any recommendations? Hoping to avoid extended studs if possible.

Thanks in advance, and ignore those ugly UCAs - they're being replaced as well. Cheers.

I hadn't been tattooed in almost 12 years, and broke the ice by starting my second sleeve while visiting Japan. Martina is an incredible artist. My wife ended up getting a piece from her as well.
