Schiit Stack Heat

I've been running a Schiit Stack for years with a Mani and a Loki Mini.

It does get hot - just took delivery of some further components, wondering what the best way to deal with heat is, and if my proposed stack has any issues.

I'm now running:

Schiit Sys

Schiit Mani 2

Schiit Loki Mini

Schiit Buf

Signal chain runs:

Turntable -> Mani -> Sys -> Loki -> Buf.

Intending to stack it in the same order. Should I be splitting them into two stacks of two instead? or would all 4 being in one stack (on top of my TT PSU) be fine?

Migrating boot SSD to another computer

Hi everyone - looking for some help to get my proxmox server back up and running.

Previously I was running it on a Beelink EQ12. My VMs include Home Assistant and Scrypted.

Unfortunately it decided to die sometime early in the morning. I did not, to my own discredit…, have proper backup for my proxmox server up and running.

Tried everything to get it back up but to no avail - it’s going to go back for repairs. I have however extracted the boot drive and tried to boot from it on another computer and that seems to work - save that I need to change the network configurations. I couldn’t get in to access the proxmox web UI on another computer on my local network.

I’ve purchased another Mini PC (from a different brand and using different hardware) to use in the interim and can transplant the SDD in to that - where I’m lost is how to reconfigure the network settings on the new Mini PC so that I can access proxmox web UI, start my VMs and get those back up and running.

Would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction - I’ve yet to come across any definitive guide or video addressing this. Many thanks and I shall.. learn from the mistake with the backups!

Hi everyone, just picked up an RX 100 VII or m7.

I'm experiencing quite a bit of noise on the screen. the lighting is not great but there's sort of some distorting artefacts in the image that look a bit off. Just wondering if anyone has any insight as to whether anything is wrong with the camera.
