Which one is correct?
I’m looking for some clarity on the exact mechanics of the toproll setup right at the go. I understand the basic grip fundamentals, but I'm seeing two distinct approaches to the pronation aspect in high-level footage and tutorials, and I want to know which one is more effective or how to choose between them.
Approach 1 (Active Pronation): Getting a slight cup and flexion in the wrist and actively turning the palm down and pronating through the movement to crack the opponent's wrist.
Approach 2 (Static Pronation): Locking the pronator completely solid statically before the go, treating it like a rigid hammer curl, and moving the entire arm and body as a single unit without actively throwing the pronation during the hit.
