I recently repasted my Strix G16 with an i7-13650HX and RTX 4060 with Thermal Grizzly Phasesheet PTM as it was recommended to me on my last post on this subreddit and my temperatures got a lot worse than before. Before with my 3 year old never repasted CPU and GPU, my CPU would be at 95c playing marvel rivals at 4.1-4.2ghz even with clogged up fans. Now I’m at 95c on the cpu at 2.8Ghz. I applied the phasesheet to the exact size of both dies, cleaned the heatsinks and dies perfectly and matched the size of the sheet to the exact sizes of the dies. I cleaned the fans and fins and removed all the dust. Just booted up my laptop and my cpu clockspeeds are just way worse than before at the same temperature. Should I try to repaste with liquid metal?

Any good laptop repair shops?

I took my gaming laptop to musheireb to get it repasted to improve temperatures and the repair shops there just made the problem worse💀is there any reliable gaming laptop repair shop I could go to for repasting?

Laptop MUCH hotter after repaste and fan cleaning

I got my laptop(ROG STRIX G16, i7-13650HX, RTX 4060) GPU repasted and fans cleaned by a technician but after booting it, I was getting 3.5ghz at 95c on my cpu whilst gaming whereas prior to this I was getting 4.1-4.2ghz at 95c whilst gaming. After asking the technician to figure out the reason, he redistributed the existing liquid metal on the cpu. After this, my cpu was at 90c on idle, and 95c at 1ghz whilst gaming. My gpu was cooler than usual at least, lol.

I went to another technician and got my cpu repasted with new liquid metal(lk 128) and the gpu repasted as well with mx 4 and the issue still persists. 90c whilst idling and doing nothing. I’m unsure of what to do here to be honest. Should I throw out this laptop and buy a new one? Or is there a way to fix it? I attached a picture of the insides of my laptop if that helps at all.
