I'm having serious doubts about BTRFS vs EXT4 after 3 years of using BTRFS.
My example.
Volume 1 - BTRFS
Volume 2 - BTRFS
Volume 3 - EXT4
Volume 4 - EXT4
Volume 5 - EXT4
Recently I had a problem with Volume 2. Filesystem corruption. This one is nasty it creates a deadlock condition that hangs the whole system all storage pools hung.
Support indicated the issue lies more likely in Volume 2. BUT also the log shows it could be Volume 1.
I'm losing confidence in BTRFS. After 3 years of use, the volumes they has or showing corruption issue are the BTRFS ones.
I'm not using any of the BTRFS functions anyway. Should I be spending the time to re-make them all to EXT4 ?
