How many here got introduced to Terry Pratchett's Discworld thanks to Nethack (and possibly other roguelikes)?

The lack of responses alluding to Nethack/Roguelikes on this thread on r/discworld got me to post this. I posted my story there in any case.

I remember first seeing the Tourist class in Nethack. All its extended quotes, too. The way Death talks, the Shopkeepers being described as their own race etc.

References to Discworld got so ubiquitous to me that I may be subconsciously even forgetting them when I see them in other games. I know in vanilla Angband, sometimes the general storekeeper's name is Rincewind the Chicken.

There might be so many others that I don't recall at the moment. So if you know any at the top of your head, do list them here too!

The parts where Death is on the receiving end or acting goofy are the most hilarious to me.

I've just Mort (years ago that too), Reaper Man and a few others but they live rent-free in my head. I still laugh to myself. Really funny how so quickly offers money if threats fail. I've yet to read more of his series but I'm sure there'll be more like this for me.

Found these character backstories comics on their website. Gives so much meaning now to them.

I played and finished the game last year. Wish I had seen these sooner but I'm glad I found them in the first place.

I discovered all this by fluke while attempting to sketch a character using an image from the Fandom page. Besides this there's Promotional, Concept art and all. It is a treasure trove! Check it out: https://www.darkestdungeon.com/darkest-dungeon/media/
