How to light this fireplace?

Got a house that was built in 99 and I cannot figure out how to test out this fireplace to make sure everything is working properly. I turned the gas on with a key, and can smell gas coming from under the logs in the sand that’s down there. There’s no pilot light or ignition switch, just a key to turn on the gas. I tested all the connections with soapy water just to make sure no bubbles. Not sure when the last time this was used, but the flue is spotless. Any help would be awesome, thank you

Question about countertop install

We are getting our new countertops installed this week and my wife swears they told her to have the kitchen sink installed when they come to put in the countertops. To me that makes no real sense other than having it sit on some boards or something in the general area of where it will go. It’s an undermount sink as well. Anyone have a similar scenario? Thank you!

Baby termite?

Doing a remodel and found this on a wall. Super small and was barely noticeable. Way small than a grain of rice. This is the clearest picture I could get of it. Tried to get it and practically turned to dust when I touched it.

HVAC condensate drain line rerouting

I’ve got a new to me house with a new hvac system, the drain line however comes out maybe an inch or 2 above ground level and is making a little swamp right up against the foundation. I extended it out a bit, but the way the slope is it’s going back into the same spot. I’m trying to think of ways to get to flow out to the yard or just anywhere away from the foundation, I’m just not sure how to do that and still have it slope downward since there isn’t much of a slope to begin with since the drain pipe comes out of the house so low to begin with.. any ideas? Thanks!

How to lower homes humidity

Bought a house recently, and had a new hvac installed, normally the temp is set at 75 degrees but I’ve only really started noticing the humidity level is high. Hanging around the high 60s. Lowered the temp down a bit and that’s helped some, but do I need to invest in a decent dehumidifier? Or could something be causing the high humidity? We are remodeling the entire house so there is an open cavity in the kitchen where I cut out the old backsplash, but there’s no leaks, plenty of insulation that was blown in the attic too. Any advice? Thank you!

New hvac install question

Recently had a new hvac installed and while most of the condensation is coming out of that pvc pipe away from the house it seems to have some leaking out of that green pipe coming from the house making the soil wet next to the foundation. Is that normal? Or was something broken that could cause it to be leaking inside the house as well? It other side of this wall is in the garage and I can’t see any signs of water leaking, but just wanted to see if I need to have them come back out to fix it or not, thanks!

Bought a house that passed inspection, but I’m finding proof the seller knew about a termite infestation. This is just the bathroom, but it goes up into the ceiling and has damaged a load bearing section. Can any legal recourse be taken? This is not an active infestation, and the seller says he had no knowledge of any termites. But the termite company I brought out says it’s an old infestation that was treated and showed me the holes they drilled to treat it.In Arkansas
