Hello friends, I would like to talk about my personal experience regarding what I mentioned in the title. In fact, many things will change; when posting, for example, you can use music to reach a wider audience, and you will be able to see content with attached music and Reels that have copyrighted music. Also, people coming from abroad and visiting Syria complain about their inability to browse TikTok, so I wanted to write about my personal experience, which is still ongoing.

I would like to point out that my experience relies entirely on iPhone devices, which are practically harder to bypass in these applications than Android devices due to the nature of the operating systems.

• How do you run TikTok in Syria?

First, as of the date of writing this post, you cannot create a TikTok account with a Syrian number; you need a foreign number. However, if you already have an account, you will be surprised that the app doesn't open and closes automatically with a message stating that the application is restricted in your geographical area (Syria).

What is the solution? Stop giving geolocation and GPS permissions to TikTok; do not let it determine your location on the map in the background. You also need to use a VPN called (VPN Super not an AD).

ProtonVPN doesn't work for this

Close the TikTok app completely, turn on the VPN, and try to open TikTok. If it doesn't work, enable Airplane Mode and connect through any Starlink network available around you (there are study and workspaces that provide this). Once TikTok opens, you can disable Airplane Mode immediately and continue browsing. Today, I browse freely even on cellular data using this VPN, and I never turn it off on my device.

• How to use the music playlists on Instagram?

The same VPN will allow you to access music playlists and content with attached music on Instagram. The songs, music, and audio page might not appear immediately; you may need to browse for a bit or have someone send you a clip containing music for the well-known Instagram music button to appear.

• How to use Spotify in Syria?

Unfortunately, you cannot do this on the phone. Since the VPN changes your geographical location, Spotify will not allow any music to play until you update your location in the app to match the virtual location provided by the VPN. So, what is the solution?

The solution is to open Spotify Web using Proton VPN on a computer, and you will find that the application works perfectly without any issues.
