اليوم، أبلغتُ الكونغرس بقراري إلغاء تصنيف سوريا كدولة راعية للإرهاب. ووفقاً للقانون، سيُجري الكونغرس الآن مراجعة تستمر 45 يوماً لاستكمال هذا القرار وجعله نهائياً.
لقد وعدتُ بإزالة جميع العوائق التي تحول دون إعادة بناء بلدكم، وقريباً جداً ستتمكنون أخيراً من القيام بذلك. ولدينا شركات أمريكية مستعدة للاستثمار في سوريا والمساعدة في جعل بلدكم أكثر ازدهاراً من أي وقت مضى.

Yinon Shalom Yitach, (ינון שלום יתח) a military correspondent for an i24NEWS Israeli channel , published video clips and photos captured by Israeli observation posts in the border region with Syria at the moment the Assad regime fell on December 8, 2024.
The previously unpublished video clips and photos, show Bashar al-Assad's soldiers lowering the Syrian flag and raising a white flag of surrender in its place, despite there being no fighting at the time, and leaving their Syrian military positions along the border with Israel.
After the Israelis observed the Syrian withdrawal, Israel issued a military order for its military units to enter Syrian territory and occupy those areas that same night.
