Airbnb, Hotel or package on the park’s site?

Hey guys,

Our family lives in Buffalo and it’s a short drive to the park, but we want to stay the weekend and wanted to know the best option for places to stay. I looked at some Airbnb’s which is around $430-$500 for our family and then park tickets are $45/ticket. There will be 6 of us total. If I book via the website, I can get a hotel+park package for around $770.

My question is, is there cheaper hotels within 25 miles of the park I could get that’s less than an Airbnb? We are only in need of 2 nights and won’t be spending much time other then to sleep and relax after a busy day.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

After multiple IEM’s & DAP’s, I am satisfied.

Match made in heaven for me, I listen to some pretty complex music and after going through multiple setups, this is the one!

Fiio M21 DAP
Xenns Mangird Top Pro IEM
XINHS XH60 Cable

Also waiting on Aful Explorer’s to be delivered to change it up.

Bye Tarmac, Hello Topstone.

Owned a Specialized Tarmac SL8 Expert and while it was a fast and fun bike, the roads around here are cracked, bumpy and i do a lot of trails that have anything from smooth to light gravel.

Kingpin makes a huge difference in comfort and I paired it with the Continental Terra speed competition and this thing is very fast and very comfortable which was another reason for the change. Less aggressive for longer rides.

I have a pair of Elite Wheels Carbon SLR Gravel on the way that should put this over the top.

Model: Cannondale Topstone 3 Carbon in Moonrock.

What is everyone using for case(Multiple IEM’s)?

Just started getting into the hobby and didn’t expect to go down a rabbit hole and also own multiple models. Looking for a case that I can organize multiple models, DAC & eartips PLUS I’m looking for a really nice portable case for whatever I want take with me that day.

Thanks!

Opinions on comfort for the Topstone and Kingpin.

Looking at getting a gravel bike, but it’ll be mainly 70% road/30%gravel. I ride for recreation and fitness and tend to do 15-25miles/Day depending schedule for a total of 75-80 miles/Week. I currently own a Specialized Tarmax SL8 Expert and geometry wise, it’s aggressive and while it isn’t terrible, it’s harsh to ride and I would prefer a higher stack and shorter reach.

I’m currently looking at the Cannondale Topstone 3 Carbon and would like to know everyone’s though on comfort overall and if Kingpin actually works.

I am also comparing it to the Specialized Diverge 4 Comp Alloy and that has future shock, So both have their benefits.

Anyway, would love to hear thoughts.

Thanks!

Best DAC’s that support 4.4m and portable?

I currently have the Moondrop Dawn Pro 2, but wanted to see if that’s the best one out there or if there’s other options.

My setup:

Ziigaat Crescent w/4.4m
Simgot Ew500 w/4.4m cable

iPhone 17 Pro using lossless and Hi-Res.

It’s need to be portable, take a 4.4 plug and had to be under $75.

Thanks!

Questions/recommendations for New User

I’m looking for a wired solution strictly for Music on my IPhone 17 Pro. There’s a few options out there like the Hidizs St2 Pro that already has USB-C and dac on board for simplicity, but I’m not against getting a 3.5mm option with a portable dac if need be.

If you had $200 to spend on a good setup for strictly music (mainly Heavy music), what would you go with?

Thanks in advance!

Game 3 is going to be our best.

I think Tage is going to be on fire in game 3, I think our 1st line will lead the way and we will play our best game. We have been resilient all year and just like last series, We came back strong after game 2.

This is round 2 of the playoffs, no team is going to be a cake walk and every team has a bad showing, what matters is how we respond after that showing.

I think every player in that room is gonna have a fire under them, they know what they did and they know they have to be better.

I’m excited for game 3! LETS GO BUFFALO!

I’m not sure when the NHL started the next round when round 1 was still going on, but it’s pretty unacceptable and unfair to other teams. Philly & Carolina are already on game 3 while Buffalo/Montreal just finished game 1. If Carolina somehow sweeps the Flyers. They will be resting starting May 10th while, the other series is only just finished game 2.

Plus Philly barely had time to rest compared to Carolina, if they had just waited 2 more days, it would have made more sense.

Am I alone in this or do others agree?
