I'm an IT and can generally tell when I'm getting messages on the apps by a bot.
-Replies almost immediately
-Isn't really saying anything but just asking questions
-Wants to be my Sugar Daddy and provide for me (lol)
Etc
But I sometimes have to test the bot to be certain. My go to method is to ask them this question "Who's your favorite Golden Girl?". I generally get three responses
Ignores the question entirely and acts like I said something else (bot)
Responds but doesn't know or hasn't seen an episode. Too young or uncultured /sarcasm (block)
Answers and I continue the conversation, usually get a good laugh from it
But I'm curious how other people weed out if someone is a bot.
