So I live in Kerala (Kochi specifically) and lately there's been a lot of electricity disruptions in the state, I think it's mostly due to lack of rain here recently and the state is trying to conserve electricity as much as possible.

These cuts are usually post 7pm in my area, and that's when I'm gaming. So my building has a backup generator, but it takes like 2 minutes to startup after the electricity goes, so yeah I figured a good UPS can bridge this gap.

Can you guys suggest some good UPS I can get from Amazon? Hopefully not too expensive, I just need something that can give me a backup of like 10 minutes or sumn.

I've seen a lotta posts on this sub suggesting ones that are 7k and all, I can't afford that unfortunately.

Any cheap ones that are pretty good quality that can give me like 10 minutes?

I’m currently planning to close my Groww account and transfer my holdings over to Zerodha. To be honest, I’m not a fan of how gamified the Groww app feels, and I’m looking to shift to Zerodha. Plus, I’ve crunched the numbers and feel like the brokerage structure at Zerodha will be more cost-effective for my trading/investing style in the long run.

I’m looking to initiate the transfer/closure request through the Digio portal (https://app.digio.in/#s/DGOGrowwAccCls). I have a few questions for those who have used this specific method:

The Process & Timeline:

1. How long does this process usually take? Once I submit the request through Digio, what is the typical turnaround time for the closure to be approved and the transfer to complete?
2. Notification flow: Will there be any email updates throughout the process? If so, who usually sends them, Groww, Zerodha, or Digio?
3. Scope of transfer: My portfolio is a mix of stocks and Mutual Funds, both held in my demat account (I don't have any on SoA). Does this specific Digio flow handle the transfer of both successfully, or is there anything I should be aware of regarding how MFs are treated compared to stocks?

Post-Transfer & Setup:

4. Zerodha Setup: Once the transfer is complete, what does the experience look like on the Kite and Coin apps?

5. Data Management: I assume I’ll need to manually set the average purchase values for my holdings in Console, how straightforward is that process? Is there any other manual task I need to perform once the assets land in my new account?

Troubleshooting:

6. Rejections: I’ve heard that submissions can get rejected. If that happens, how does the notification come through? Do they clearly specify the reason for the rejection?

7. Resubmission: If a rejection happens, is there any kind of cooling-off period before I can apply again, or can I rectify the issue and resubmit immediately?

8. Costs: Did anyone encounter any unexpected costs or complications specifically while using this Digio-based route?

So this is going to be about me purchasing an XBOX Series S. There's like a million posts on here of people asking to buy/sell an xbox series s, so I didn't want to add to that, as I've already bought one myself.

So I recently got myself a series S from a guy on reddit, he seemed like a good dude and I got it off him for 23k, and he covered the courier charges as well. I recieved it just yesterday, got myself a Gamepass premium subscription and already started playing, I'm playing RE3 right now, I'm very pleased and enjoying it a lot. Just like every other person on here, I got myself this console so I can play gta 6 when it comes out. And having gamepass is an added benefit because console gaming is quite expensive now and its much cheaper to get a series S than other consoles in the market.

Lemme tell you sumn, I had to save up considerably to get this thing, had to get myself a used monitor as well to connect it to. I've been working in IT for the past 1 year, and I earn 30k per month. Getting this console eats up a good chunk of my savings.

The reason I feel somewhat sad is this - I've been seeing posts of people on reddit getting it for much much better deals, some for 18k, people abroad getting it for even 100usd (thats the price of gta 6 ultimate edition btw) and all that. I'm even seeing people get the series X for around 30k which is also a great deal.

I just keep thinking did I just throw away so much of my money? And I feel somewhat sad about it, and it's affecting my ability to enjoy this big purchase I made, shouldn't I feel happy that I have it? Idk. I spent 23k on a 6 year old system, which is insane, it really is now that I think about it. And seeing comments on posts of people trying to sell it, saying it's only worth 15k and stuff, makes me even sadder still.

I fucking hate AI and Sam Altman and this whole hardware pricing man......

It's in a really good condition and has no stains or damages.
