Let’s talk salary

This one is for all my fellow professional weather nerds out there - I’d love to know what you guys are making. Meteorology isn’t a career path known for making the big bucks, but I’d love to see where some of us are standing.

I went down the private industry path, and work fully remote in marine weather routing, making just over $60k a year in a MCOL state. Ive been feeling pretty stuck at my current job, with little change after talking with management.

There’s a first time for everything

Saw a large trash bag, felt it and thought it was something good. Needless to say, I didn’t expect two weapons.

PD is on its way to collect these as we speak.

EDIT: PD came, ended up being VERY high end BB gun replicas. They took them away

EDIT #2: for those saying that I should’ve kept them - I’m very gun illiterate. I don’t know much about them at all, and to me they looked real. I wasn’t willing to take that chance.

Quick run to clear some room out in my barn, namely the 200lbs piece of kitchen equipment I picked up last week. Prices aren’t great here in the rural northeast, but not a bad little payday for a bunch of odds and ends that we’re taking up a lot of space.
