Whats a weird food combination you grew up with thinking was normal?

In my family it was eating mashed potatoes with baby dill pickles. They have to be creamy, extra buttery potatoes then you scoop up a heaping scoop with the pickle. Absolutely delicious. My wifes families odd one is dipping pizza in applesauce. Absolute abomination imo.

Raffles are criminally underated sales technique

I think raffling off major items like your car or home should be more common and i think we're missing a platform to do so. It might not work to sell your 300k house in a city of 100k people, but if you raffled off your million dollar condo in NYC for 5 bucks a pop instead of selling outright, I'd wager you would come out ahead.
