so i was following the guide to mod my 3ds and honestly I don't know what to do now

Maybe this is a stupid question, I don't know, but it probably is as I'm almost certain this is NOT a camera, but I want to be sure. I am at my job and there's nothing to do and I was on my phone but I wouldn't want my managers to know, ofc, so I got paranoid about cameras, but I couldn't find any. Instead I found these, which I'm 99% sure are not cameras, but the main reason I am suspicious is because I found genuinely no cameras, and I work at an exposition in an old building, almost a thousand years old, so I found it weird there's little to no security. Anyway, I don't even know if this is the right place to post this, but thank you all anyway for your help.

So I recently got this 3DS XL from Vinted, and the hinges are SLIGHTLY broken, it is almost imperceptible and by far the best I could find for a really decent price, but I wanted to know if there's anything I could do to prevent this from getting worse (besides, of course, being extra careful when I open and close the console) or if it's a lost cause and it will inevitably get bigger
