New collector, how do you handle receiving dented units from Amazon/Walmart/big box?
They keep shipping in padded envelopes…
I had to unwrap it to find the dents…and I definitely want an exchange. Maybe plastic is better for someone obsessed with no dents like myself.
I wonder if they got more than the 6 on display…I was worried my local imax wouldn’t get them. Luckily Regal didn’t sell them before opening day, and no one was there before me (30 minutes before first movie of day)
I really wish a manager could sign their name or something so I could get the popcorn at the time I see the movie later today.
Otherwise_Pirate_542 tried to scam me out of $80. He said he would refund and then ghosted for 2+ weeks.
No problem, because PayPal took care of me. Dont ever use friends and family. Don’t use Zelle, don’t use cash.app. I’m hearing Venmo might not be great either.
I bought my first Mario set now that they are dropping in price and I really enjoy the game part of it with my son.

Im glad they didn’t get upset about me bringing my own bucket. This helps me out because my wife doesn’t like butter and I do.
I went day 1 to see what the AMC space ship looked like. It was smaller than I expected for the price so I left it there.
19th I decided to take my wife and 5 year old, and thought “my first attempt to find someone with a Cinemex Buzz bucket failed…I’ll get the rocket if they have it”
There was slight disappointment when it was sold out, but my wife said “why didn’t you tell me there was a ball? I like that way more than any of the other things you sent me”
Her excitement blew my mind. I was so thrilled she felt the call of the popcorn bucket collecting. $32ish USD for a drink, popcorn and decorative themed items with a pin? I would have spent $20 anyway for just the drink and the popcorn! I was stoked to get the marriage topper.
I almost spent $50 for a popcorn bucket on a day I wasn’t going to see the movie and only have popcorn…spent $32 for popcorn and a drink (admittedly, the popcorn was a smaller bag, but whatever). Also, the movie is GREAT!
Now I just need to get the refund promised by the seller who didn’t find the Buzz bucket. I did PayPal goods and services so I’m not panicking.
I would not have remembered about the KFC bucket if it wasn’t for this subreddit. I liked the sweet chili sauce and the drink!

I started with a 1 hour wait that was not completely necessary at AMC, but i refused to miss the helmet bucket.
Then saw an email that Golden Ticket Cinema got the Cinemark helmet cup. My cinemark didn’t get the cup so this was a truly magical surprise.
Closed the night out with imax 3D. Tomorrow I get to surprise attendees in my screen accurate costume
I have had a DS1019+ for a long time. Had my first real drive failure. The beeping stopped for a few days and I didn't pay much mind to it. I couldn't login to turn it off. Blue blinking power light. I held the power button for 2 seconds with no beep. 3 seconds, 5 seconds. I held it for about 30 and then it turned off. No beeps, then a pop sound.
The power supply light was off.
I ordered a new power supply and a new drive.
I unplugged the drives to confirm the device will turn on with a new power supply.
Consistent beeping. It detects drives 1,2 and 4. and cannot assemble the SHR with 1 drive failure tolerance.
I have a remote backup so I'm not freaking out. Just curious if there is anything I can do before restoring a hefty backup.
