Two months... Run down with body aches

One month at 0.25 and one month at .50. I've lost about 10 lbs with little nausea. Unfortunately I'm run down most of the day and have had noticeable body aches around my midsection, both front and back. Also my urine looks a little dark, which is concerning.

Fortunately they have me doing blood work this month. Anything to be worried about or are these issues normal?

Riverside DUI Lawyer needed?

For my 25 yr old son. Left a party early because of a fight and was pulled over initially because of a vehicle electrical issue. Officer sensed more. Arrested, car impounded, license taken, blood test (awaiting results), spent the night in jail and he picked up vehicle the next day.

First offense, employed, student, etc. Wondering if a lawyer can really help or should he just plead no contest and accept the results?

Are all Plastic Adhesion Promoter sprays virtually the same thing?

Bought two cans of SEM 39143 for some aging trim panels on a 2001 Ford. Most of the project pros recommend using Adhesion Promoter first before applying the paint. There are many out there. Is it important to buy a specific product, or do all of them act with the same chemical bond?

Has anyone relocated to the Hudson Valley from SoCal?

Hi... my wife and I (in our 60s) visited NYC back in March and were so enthralled with it that we've thought about moving to upstate NY to retire. We're also train enthusiasts so a 1-2 hour trip downtown and back would be welcomed. We're wondering if any has retired to U-NY from SoCal and weather-aside, if you felt it was a good choice?

Locating good Administrative positions. (local job market for younger son)

I have two sons and one of them has received a well-paying job offer in Cyber near the Albany area. My other son (early 20s) just graduated with a BA in English and works part time in administrative services here in SoCal. They both live at home. Surprisingly, my older son's offer presents an opportunity for everyone including my wife and I. We're retired and a change of scenery would be nice.

Regarding my younger son, is he likely to find Administrative management positions working for the State near Albany? He's tried upgrading his position here but his degree doesn't seem to improve his job seeking.

Thanks

Am I expecting too much?

Hi... Recently I bought an Ananda Nano Refurb from Hifiman. It sounded good but its resolution and soundstage weren't great. I had it for five days. I requested to send it back. In the meantime, based on reviews I decided to buy an Arya Organic open box from them. It's currently processing.

I thought based on my new purchase costing $400 more, they would have the courtesy to send me a return label on the Nano. They didn't. Instead I have to ship it back at my expense.

Am I wrong to expect a courtesy return?

Any Light Gold Metallic paint color you'd recommend for an F-150?

The truck has lots of dark trim including Cooper blackwalls and dark tinted windows. I thought a nice sun-reflective light gold would look good. Any color code suggestions?

Is the Arya series a clear upgrade from the Ananda Nanos?

Just bought some refurbished Ananda Nanos from the Hifiman store. I've also been using an upgraded Open Heart cable from AliExpress. All in all, these sound pretty good. The sub bass is great (with EQ) and they're fairly engaging but, the soundstage and imaging are not quite as lively as my HD 560s. Keep in mind I'm in my '60s and my hearing pretty much diminishes at 14kHz.

Would an upgrade to the Arya Stealth or Organic be a sensible move?

Can I get Sonic Serenity in an Open Back for less than $2500?

Quality build, Comfortable, Sub-bass, 3D/Holographic imaging, Great Soundstage.. the whole package. EQ is my friend. I've always gone "low to mid tier" trying to find the perfect <$1000 Planar or Dynamic "under the radar" Mastering headphone that would satisfy my Audiophile and Musician traits. It just isn't happening and I'm willing to spend more now. My DAC/Amp is a Topping DX5 II and I'm feeding it with a Lynx S/PDIF Coax connection (48kHz/24 bit) with all audio sources.

Can anyone recommend a headphone that fits this criteria, or do I need to bite the bullet and spend more the $2500?

(I should point out that I've auditioned most of the Audeze line and they're too heavy and clunky for me)

Focal Elex vs Focal Clear

I'm debating on buying the Focal Elex when it becomes available again at headphones.com. I've never auditioned a Focal headphone before but I've heard great things about the original Clear. The thing is however, the Elex will sell for about $300 less.

Could someone educate me on their differences, if any? On paper their frequency response seems pretty similar.

Handheld Samplers... Still used these days?

With all the variety of IPhone and Android apps, is there still a need to buy one of these to sample my own percussion hits, as in "bangin' on stuff"?

Any of you use HIFIMAN headphones for Mixing/Mastering original music?

Hi... getting my first Planar soon. I use sample libraries and record bass and vocals. I'd rather have something that showcases soundstage, imaging and separation rather than critical details. Also, great sub content if possible. I'd like to keep it under $1500. Any suggestions?

Michael Brauer Vocal Compressor chain... Hit or miss?

Hi.. I'm debating on using this. It's basically sending a finished vocal to several compressor plugins (Presto, 1176, Fairchild, Distressor and Manley) and adjusting their volumes before hitting a clean lead vocal bus.

Any value to this? I can imagine it makes the vocal very loud and up front. But honestly that much compression is concerning. Any comments?

Wanting to compare Native plug-in CPU usage stats?

Hi... I was wondering if there's software that can tell me how much CPU a Native plug-in is using within a DAW session? For example, comparing a UAD SSL Channelstrip emulation to a Waves or Plugin Alliance version.

Thanks
