Hey all, just got my hands on a 2001. It’s got 160k miles so she’s up there. 3rd and 5th especially feel notchy at times but they usually go in fine, except one time it grinded 3rd at a 9k rpm shift, locked me out: totally could’ve been my fault though. Is this a sign of an imminent trans failure or is it just normal wear for its mileage? I haven’t had any gear pop out yet. I have been pretty patient with shifting this car.

This has been going on I believe since I got the laptop a year ago. The 2 main games I play is cs2 and rainbow six, but it happens in basically every game. For example, rainbow six I get around 160-180fps with DLSS, my 1% lows constantly drop between 20-80fps (happens with DLSS off too) and cs2 my 1% lows are consistently 2-2.5x less than my current fps. My games stutter every 2-5 seconds. I currently have a fresh install of Windows and updated the bios too, I’m lost. I’m using performance mode plugged in and have tried dGPU mode too. I’ve tried basically everything.
