Transitioning Outdoor to Indoor

I just bought a mounted Staghorn Fern from FB Marketplace. The previous owner had it outdoors and I noticed it was infested with many ants and white aphids, with a couple spiders.

What should I do to be able to get rid of these bugs so I can bring it indoors. I don’t want it to infect my other plants.

Reoccurring Vomiting

My 4 year old cat (American short hair, female, 10lbs, neutered) has been vomiting with some really hefty wretching usually at 6 am once a week/every other week for almost 5 months now. The vomit usually looks like a clump of very wet kibble, so it’s not liquidy. There’s very small amounts of fur in it. She acts totally normal right after, like nothing happens.

Gone to the vet multiple times. Blood test, X ray, and ultra sounds were all normal. Her litter behavior is normal. She was prescribed ID Hills. She has a history of urine crystals so she is also on CD Hills. In April 2025, she had surgery for blockage in her stomach.

Her diet consist of: 9am: CD Hills Wet on slow feeder. 3pm: CD Hills Kibble on puzzle feeder. 9pm: CD Hills Wet on slow feeder. 12am: CD Hills Kibble & ID Hills Kibble on puzzle feeder.

This diet has been like this for over two years. The only thing changed recently is the addition of ID. She usually doesn’t finish her kibble right away. So when I do wake up from her wrenching at around 6ams, she still has some 12am kibble left out in her puzzle.

I also give her a hairball gel treat every night. And every other night, it’s cat toothpaste.

Any thoughts or opinions? The vet concluded that the occasional treats of Churu and the Pothos in my room should be removed. I removed them, yet this situation never stopped.
