J-1 students looking for winter season housing in Mammoth
Hi everyone!
I’ll be working at Mammoth Mountain this upcoming winter season as a J-1, and I’m traveling with a group of around 8 people.
We’ve been looking for housing through Zillow, Airbnb, and other sites, but it’s been pretty difficult. A lot of people don’t respond, and since we’re J-1s looking to rent only for the winter season, finding a place that will accept us has been a bit complicated.
I wanted to ask if anyone here has done a J-1 season in Mammoth before and has any housing recommendations or contacts. Also, if anyone knows someone who rents to seasonal/J-1 workers, or has a property available for the winter season, we’d really appreciate any information.
We’re open to different options and mainly trying to find something reliable for the season.
