He’s Baaaack
This Ralph Lauren model (maybe not really) is how I first found out about CC. He defended her after the Cut article then he disappeared from the Caro-verse. 2015 Tumblr is indeed freaking out rn.

Update (6/26)— Oliver is in his bed sleeping at home. A Redditor found him in Laurel MD. They waited with him until the police came. He was quite confused and lost. When we picked him up he asked ifwe can get Korean bbq —that seemed like way too much of a reward—but as soon as we got back he went to his room and feel asleep. It’s been a long few days for us all. DC—what an incredible community. We are so thankful to you all

Hi everyone,
My brother didn’t come home last night and it’s now been close to 30 hours since we’ve last seen/heard from him.
He was last seen wearing gray shorts, a dark t-shirt and blue slides (he may be barefoot though).
We’ve filed a police report but are wanting to cast as wide a net as possible. I have attached a photo of him for reference although he’s skinnier and will look more unkept.
if you see or have seen anyone who looks like him in the last day or two, we’d greatly appreciate if you could contact the police with any details (time, location, etc) you might have.
He has mental illness and is often talking or laughing to himself. He is very keen on cigarettes. He hasn’t taken his medication in over 30 hours so he’s likely very symptomatic.
Thank you all for your help.
EDIT: 6/25 8a.m… he has still not been located. Im also including the case number— Ccn# 26082308, district 4D.
EDIT: he was last seen near Georgia Ave and Van Buren ST, NW…. His name is Oliver. 🙏
Edit: if you see him, please call the police.
I was referred to a paralegal position by my former boss at their new company (not in her department). In my first interview I made the mistake of indicating my current salary to HR. I thought he next two went great. I don’t have paralegal experience but I’ve worked in that firm’s practice field for almost a decade. Everyone I spoke with (all 3 people on the legal team) said that this wasn’t a traditional paralegal role and that my industry experience might be more valuable. Today I got the rejection email but was told that I was very well received and that the line of communication was open. I asked the folks on the team if they had any feedback. One of them (who I didn’t really care for anyway) responded to say that I need to lower my salary expectations. I had told all of them that I was comfortable anywhere in the range that they listed on the posting. I so badly want to respond and say that usually I would leave it up to the candidate to decide if the offer is acceptable to them. I’m not going to but I really want to.
Super bummed. It felt like it was a for sure thing. I got the news while at a conference for my current job and the thought of maybe being gone by the end of the month was really getting me through it.
Hello everyone! My former boss (turned friend) referred me to apply for an opening for a paralegal at the company she now works for. I’m super grateful she thinks enough of me to do this so I want to make sure I nail it.
For context, we work in the property management industry and worked together to form a centralized administrative department. I’ve been unhappy in my current role since she left and have mentioned that I have tried unsuccessfully many times to transition to being a paralegal. When the position opened up, she encouraged me to apply right away which I did. I managed to land a phone interview the next day (tomorrow)!
Unbeknownst to her at the time, I completed a paralegal certificate during COVID and have been looking for exactly this kind of opportunity since then.
I don’t have any direct experience as a paralegal but I have a TON of experience working with attorneys from the plaintiff side and I am familiar with legal challenges that large landlords face, am technologically competent, and a quick learner but I know that I’ll need a lot of training which is an attorney turn off.
The phone screen is with the HR rep and it’s been about 10 years since my last job interview. I would appreciate so much if anyone can help me prepare by suggesting questions that I may be asked either about my current role, why I might be leaving, my familiarity with what might be required in this new position, suggestions for how to highlight my relevant experience to combat concerns about my lack of direct experience, anything!
Thank you!!!!
