Thought I'd share a couple of pics from this morning's photo shoot. I love Panerai!

What to expect coming from Ferrari...

Hello everyone. I've been looking at the Vanquish for many years now. To me the 2014 - 2018 Vanquish (along with the previous Gen DBS) are some of the best looking cars made.

I'm coming from an F430 and 458. I know a GT car and a sports car are very different. With the 458 market up so much it made sense to sell it. Now I find myself back looking for more of a GT car. I'm 6'4" and 260 lbs, so looking forward to a little more comfortable that can also be fun to drive in the twisties.

While the Ferraris were fun, loud, attention getting, etc. I feel like I'm at a stage in life I'm more interested in a subtle and elegant car. Has anyone else struggled with this? If so, did the Vanquish disappoint or was it exactly what the doctor ordered so to speak?

Any and all thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Didn't get the call, so I made it...

I live in a pretty wealthy area of FL. After my AD consistently laughs at anyone that asks for a Rolex without spending $1,000s on jewelry and watches you don't want, I went gray.

Obviously, I had to go gray for this one, but they have been no help at all. As a matter of fact I've been "on the list" since April 2025 for a Sprite on jubilee, or so I thought. I've seen my SA in the store 6+ times since then. Always wore either an AP or VC to show her I was serious about spending money on watches.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. I reached out via text asking if she could help accommodate a huge life milestone later this month. I explained I am selling my company and would love to celebrate the occasion with a new timepiece. She then dropped the bomb on me that she never actually registered me for the Sprite. Now she is inviting me to come back in and officially register for a piece she may be able to deliver in 2027. She wants me to come in now that she knows I have a chunk of change in my pocket after selling my company, no thanks.

I hope everyone else has a much better experience with their local ADs moving forward. As for me, I will not be going in to register for anything at that store.
