Is this anything special or just a regular DBX?
It says 1/500 on the side and exhausts look a bit off, am I missing something?
The trim looks basic but I'm not familiar with Astons so just curious on what is going on here?
Thanks

Fortunately I'm not the one that has to clean them!
Looking at getting either a Rapide (possibly an S) or DB11 V12 as a daily driver in the next year. Getting over an illness so this is my “light at the end of the tunnel” so to speak.
Any thoughts on reliability, comfort, drivability in all weather (no snow), and general practicality? Budget around 80k. Love the NA V12 and space of the Rapide, but having a much more modern interior with the DB11 would also be valuable.
I’m not going to treat this as a garage showpiece and will actually drive it, so if there’s any pain points with build quality or leaving in the sun sometimes, that’s somewhat important. TYIA!
Anything specific to look out for on the 2020 Vantage? This is sitting at 45K miles so any major service things I should look for that might be coming up in the next year or two? I know it runs off of the Mercedes power train and electronics but coming into a new type of car always looking for what you guys look for or any warnings. Thanks!
Ive driven , owned and leased everything else out there but never an Aston Martin. I think what kept me away were many stories of mechanical and electrical issues. Now with the AMG engine, a proven commodity, I decided that its time. Ive done a fair amount of due diligence but I figured id reach out to the group for any tips or insights I mightve missed on the brand. Thanks in advance
I have a 2012 Aston Martin V12 Vantage and I’ve been thinking about adding Apple CarPlay. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos and the install honestly looks pretty reasonable, but I wanted to ask people who have actually done it.
Main thing I’m wondering is whether it noticeably affects the audio quality.
For anyone who has done it, are there any other things I should look out for before buying a kit or taking it in?
Thought I’d ask here first.
I swear, I never see them, in Los Angeles of all places. I just saw a Silver Vantage driving down La Tiera over the 405 towards LAX 15 mins ago, and my girl spotted a dark blue one about a month ago literally on the same spot.
I know you exist! Would love to meet with other owners in LA and admire these beautiful cars 🤙. Only other meet-up I know is all the way in San Diego.
Looking at the DB11 as a GT car for nice weekend outings. Was thinking a convertible (Volante) since I don’t currently have one in my garage. But, I need a rear seat option for kids and small adults. Is the rear seat room much different from a coupe to a Volante? I have test driven the coupe, and the rear seats were workable for what I need. But no Volante versions near me, so only online pictures to view. Seems like the rear seat is smaller and more vertical on the Volante.
First time I’ve ever seen one of these, and it was gorgeous. It got absolutely mobbed when it arrived.
I’ve been looking at older cars that were once way out of my price range and stumbled across a few Aston Martin DB7’s that don’t break the bank. It has around 60k miles on it. What kind of work should I be expecting to pay in the near future. I currently have an e350, Macan and Cayman S. Is the upkeep around the same cost as those?
Finally got to drive. Around a 200 mile loop with scenic and interstate. The only word that works is wonderful. It doesn't like to be hurried but if you want to, the limits are higher than any reasonable person would use in public roads. You can tell a Lotus guy did the suspension because it changes directions incredibly well and has a very good ride even in the firmest settings. The most comfortable seats I have ever had in a car and the noise is to die for. People complaining about the control setup are being silly. The car is meant to be engaged with, and I was perfectly happy with the infotainment shut off. Averaged 18mpg and I wasn't sparing the throttle. I can't really describe it as anything other than perfect.
I’ve always loved Aston’s but being this close to so many amazing cars was absolutely life changing-have to have one now 😂. If you were there it was great to see your car :)
Picked up a v special 30th birthday present to myself yesterday!
Coming from a 2018 M2 Comp, I thought this would be a bit of a boat, but it still feels agile, easier to steer, way more comfortable to drive, and the sound is just unreal!
Absolute animal of a car!
Base audio is pretty rubbish though, the V8 makes up for that though. Any suggestions for upgrading though?
Would love to join an AM owners club in the UK if there are any suggestions?
Any other recommendations for AM ownership are more than welcome, also.
Made on A2 size paper (16x23in) took me about 15 hours of work.
